Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Convomesh (“Convomesh”, “we”, “us”), the Australian company that operates MyShopiShop — the website at myshopishop.com, the shops hosted on it, and the MyShopiShop app. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, and if you record video takes, the video content terms also apply to those.
1. Who can use MyShopiShop
You must be at least 16 years old. We ask your date of birth when you create an account and refuse accounts below that age. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission, and purchases need the involvement of someone who can legally make them. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure; tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
2. What MyShopiShop is
MyShopiShop is a social shopping platform: brands and creators run shops, and people discover products, record video takes about them, ask friends, vote, follow, and buy. Some of what you see is personalised to you by AI, using what you have shown us about your taste — that is the product working as intended, not advertising sold against you.
3. Buying things
- The merchant is the seller and the merchant of record. When you buy from a brand’s shop on MyShopiShop, your purchase contract is with that merchant. Payment is taken by the merchant through their own Stripe account. We are not the seller, we do not resell their products, and we do not take payment for them — we operate the marketplace and the checkout that connects you, and we charge the merchant a fee for it.
- Order support comes from the merchant. Anything about an order — where it is, changing or cancelling it, delivery, sizing, a return, a refund, or a faulty or missing item — goes to the merchant who sold it, because they hold the order, the stock, and the payment. We show you order tracking in the app and we will point you to the right merchant and their contact details, but we do not handle order enquiries and we cannot resolve them for you. Support for the app itself and for your account is ours — see Support.
- Your consumer rights are not negotiable. If you are in Australia, the goods you buy come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and those guarantees apply against the merchant as the seller. Nothing in these terms limits them, the equivalent rights consumer law gives you where you live, or the guarantees that apply to the marketplace service we provide ourselves.
- Prices and currency. Prices are shown in your local currency where we can; the charged amount and currency are shown before you pay. An order containing products from more than one brand is charged and shipped by each brand separately.
- Some product links lead to external retailers (including through affiliate networks). A purchase made on another site is governed by that site’s terms, and we may earn a commission on it — that never changes the price you pay.
4. Your content
- You own what you create. Your takes, comments, asks, and shop pages are yours.
- You give us the licence needed to run a social platform: a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, transcoding or cropping video), publish, and distribute your public content on and around the platform — including showing your takes on the product pages they are about, in feeds, in shops that carry the product, and in our own promotion of the platform. This licence ends for content you delete, except where it has already been lawfully shared by others or we must keep it for legal reasons. Recorded video takes are additionally covered by the video content terms you accept when recording.
- Post only what you have the right to post. No content that infringes someone else’s rights, no nudity or sexual content, no harassment, hate, or threats, no spam or fake engagement, and no misleading claims about products — reviews and takes must reflect your honest experience or opinion.
- We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules, and we will act on valid infringement notices. If you believe content on MyShopiShop infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail to find and assess it.
5. Creator earnings
If you earn commissions through MyShopiShop, payouts run through Stripe, which may require identity verification. Commissions accrue as stated in the app, are payable once they clear, and may be reversed where the underlying order is refunded, charged back, or fraudulent. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. We may withhold payouts where we reasonably suspect fraud or manipulation, while we investigate.
6. What you must not do
- Break the law, or use the platform to help anyone else break it.
- Access other people’s accounts or data, probe or overload our systems, or scrape the platform.
- Misrepresent who you are, impersonate anyone, or manufacture fake follows, votes, or reviews.
- Sell or promote through the platform anything illegal, dangerous, or deceptive.
- Interfere with how the platform ranks, recommends, or displays content.
7. Our platform
The MyShopiShop and Convomesh names, the app, and everything we built are ours or our licensors’. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the platform while these terms are in place. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without obligation — that is what feedback is for.
8. Ending things
You can delete your account at any time, in the app, from your account menu — deletion is explained in the Privacy Policy. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put other users at risk, or create legal exposure for us; where reasonable we will warn you first, and closing your account does not take away rights you have already accrued (like earned commissions that clear, or consumer rights on orders already placed).
9. Liability — the honest version
We work to keep MyShopiShop reliable, safe, and accurate, and we stand behind our own service. But a marketplace and social platform involves things we do not control: merchants’ products and fulfilment, content other users post, external sites you click out to, and the occasional outage. To the extent the law allows — and never excluding the consumer guarantees described in section 3, liability that cannot be excluded, or liability for our own fraud or wilful misconduct — we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of AUD 100 and the amounts you paid us (not merchants) in the 12 months before the claim. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the service or the cost of re-supplying it.
10. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Using the platform after a change takes effect means the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the platform and delete your account.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you and Convomesh submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts — non-exclusive meaning that if consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally, these terms do not take that away. Questions about these terms, the app, or your account: support@myshopishop.com, or see Support.
